Booking and response
How quickly can you collect?
For reactive collections we have a vehicle on the road within the hour, from wherever the goods are.
Do you work evenings and weekends?
Yes. We take enquiries and bookings 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and the phone is answered around the clock.
How do I book?
Call 0800 1300 200, message us on WhatsApp on the same number, email Info@x-presscouriers.co.uk or use our online quote form. For urgent jobs, calling is fastest.
Which areas do you cover?
The whole of the UK, including Northern Ireland. Our depot is in St Helens, so we are especially quick across Merseyside and the North West.
Vehicles and delivery
What vehicles do you have?
Car, small van, SWB van, LWB van, XLWB van and Luton van. Larger vehicles, from 7.5t up to articulated, can be arranged on request through our partners. See our fleet for typical capacities.
Can I track my delivery?
Our vehicles are tracked, and you can sign up for email updates on your delivery.
Do you provide proof of delivery?
Yes. We provide photo and signature proof of delivery, and a paper copy on request.
Can you deliver onto a working site?
Yes. We prepare site-specific RAMS, our staff wear PPE on every job, and we can provide manual handling. See onsite delivery.
Storage and stock
Can you store our stock?
Yes. We have 3,500 sq ft of secure storage in St Helens with pallet racking, a forklift, pick and pack, and unloading for articulated lorries.
When is the warehouse open?
The warehouse is open 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Access outside those hours, 24/7, can be arranged by booking in advance. Bookings and enquiries are taken 24/7.
Can we get regular stock reports?
Yes. Our in-house inventory system can send customised stock reports automatically on any days and at any times you choose. They are set up on request. See stock reporting.
Insurance and terms
Are you insured?
Yes, we are fully insured, including goods in transit and public liability. Details are available on request.
Are you accredited?
We are Alcumus SafeContractor approved. See health, safety and compliance.
What terms do you work under?
We carry goods under our standard conditions of carriage. Rates are agreed with each customer, either per job or through an agreed rate card. A copy of our conditions is available on request.
